Payment Verification
A payment check and an identity check can be different processes; find out which one is pending before uploading anything.
Read the notice in the official account or provider app and confirm whether it concerns payment ownership, a transaction, or identity. Use only the stated secure upload route, submit only requested information, and check current privacy and document instructions.
Payment verification may be a provider's check of a payment method or transaction, while a platform may separately ask for identity or account information. Do not assume that one process replaces the other or that every user must provide the same documents.
Open the request from the verified account area rather than an email attachment or chat link. Confirm the recipient, purpose, accepted document type, and any redaction instructions before uploading. If the request is unclear, ask support through a contact path listed on the official site.
If verification fails, compare the submitted details with the exact error and current instructions. Avoid sending repeated copies through multiple channels. Keep the case reference and redact unrelated account numbers or card details when documenting the issue.
Before submitting documents
- Determine whether the request is provider or platform verification
- Open the request through the verified account
- Check purpose, accepted files, and redaction rules
- Submit only what the secure process requests
- Keep a case number and exact error message
Protect personal information
- Do not upload documents to an unsolicited link
- Do not send full card details or passwords in chat
- Do not assume a universal KYC trigger or document list
If the request does not explain its purpose or secure upload route, pause and confirm both with verified support first.
