USDC
USDC is a dollar-backed digital currency issued by Circle and exists on multiple blockchains. A matching ticker does not prove that two deposit routes use the same network.
Use the recipient's current instructions to identify the supported USDC network, address, and any required reference. Fees and availability belong to the specific wallet and receiving service.
Circle's documentation describes USDC across supported blockchains; that list can evolve and does not establish that a particular exchange or merchant accepts each version.
Before sending, compare the chain name on the sender and recipient screens. A token transfer on the wrong network may not be credited, even when the ticker looks correct.
A dollar-backed design is not a promise that market prices, access, redemption, or service availability will never vary. Check current issuer disclosures if those details matter to your decision.
Check the route
- Identify the exact USDC network on the receiving page
- Match the sender's network and destination address
- Read any memo, tag, or minimum instructions
- Review the live fee estimate and transaction total
Do not infer
- Merchant support from Circle's network support
- Network compatibility from the USDC ticker alone
- A guaranteed market price from the term dollar-backed
Open the recipient's own deposit page and match each field before authorizing a transfer.
