Crypto Guides
A crypto payment is a sequence of checks, not just a send button. Confirm the asset, network, address, reference field, and current fee before signing, then verify the transaction separately.
Read the receiving instructions first. Make every field match in the wallet preview, authorize only after review, and retain the transaction hash for status checks.
The recipient may require a specific token-network pair or a memo. Similar tickers and compatible address formats do not prove the route is accepted.
A wallet can show a submitted transaction while the recipient still awaits the required network confirmations or internal processing. Use the relevant chain explorer and the service's deposit history rather than repeating a transfer.
Never share a seed phrase or private key with support. If a transfer is delayed or misdirected, gather the public transaction hash and contact only the official wallet or recipient support route.
Before and after
- Verify asset, network, address, and memo
- Review the fee and total
- Save the transaction hash
- Check chain status and recipient credit separately
Avoid
- Sending a second payment just because credit is not immediate
- Using an explorer for the wrong network
- Sharing recovery credentials to solve a transaction issue
Keep a short record of the selected route and transaction ID so a support request can describe the issue without exposing secrets.
